When Ms. Hale heard about the Frassati Academy, she saw an opportunity to combine her degree in mathematics, teaching experiences and faith. She retired as Mathematics Educator after 35 years teaching in the public schools in Kansas and Missouri. Ms. Hale graduated from Fort Hays State University, B.S. Degree in Mathematics, Kansas State University, M.S. Degree in Secondary Education with emphasis in Educational Computing, Design, and Telecommunications, Northwest Missouri State University, completed 27 hours towards M.S. Degree in Mathematics. Ms. Hale has taught math classes ranging from Consumer Math, Integrated Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II,ACT Prep, Business Calculus to college dual credit classes Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus I and Statistics. Ms. Hale has taught upper-level mathematics since 2006. Ms. Hale has written mathematics curriculum, including establishing Student Learning Outcomes and evaluation strategies, writing descriptions and course sequencing. While she enjoys teaching in the classroom, she also enjoys meeting the individual needs in tutoring and adapting her teaching methods to the individual. Ms. Hale has a solid foundation in mathematics and is passionate about students learning and understanding mathematics.
